I can name two lawyers right now who were in a position to anticpate that if Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes were not able to hire private lawyers, that there would be a CONFLICT OF INTEREST associated with The Luzerne County Public Defender’s Office representing Cuadra and Kerekes..

The movie Seven is one brilliant movie. The director/producers of The Movie Seven probably didn’t intend to convey the meaing that I got from the movie. However, I think the movie Seven is a brilliant demonstration of The Ultimate Idiot Cop.

The look on Brad Pitts’ Character’s face when he realizes that he is an idiot and that he had been PLAYED is PRICELESS. Brad Pitt’s Cop in the movie Seven moves along thinking that he has it all figured out when in fact, he was up against someone who was not only spectacularly smarter than him but, Brad Pitt was up against a guy who anticipated Brad Pitt’s FUTURE MOVES.

Now, it is one thing to react brilliantly to something some idiot does but, it is a whole other level of brilliant when you anticipate an idiot’s FUTURE MOVES.

There Are Two Lawyers Associated with Harlow Cuadra who were in a position to LOOK INTO THE FUTURE (before Harlow Cuadra was even arrested) and see that there would be a Conflict of Interest associated with The Luzerne County Public Defender representing Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes if Cuadra and Kerekes could not afford private counsel. NOW,

Here is the fucking Brilliant Part of all of this.

It is very possible that a lawyer was brilliant enough to PREDICT that President Judge Mark Ciavarella (Judge Michael Conahan’s hand picked successor) would step into The Bryan Kocis Murder Case and Deny The Public Defender’s Motion to Disqualify The Luzerne County Public Defender’s Office from representing Cuadra and Kerekes.

This is just fucking Brilliant in my opinion.

It was no secret that Al Flora, Jr was Bryan Kocis’s Lawyer back in January 2007. I didn’t know in January 2007 that Flora was associated with The Public Defender’s Office but then, I’m not an experienced criminal defense attorney either. The whole fucking world knew that Al Flora, Jr was Bryan Kocis’ Lawyer and that Bryan Kocis’ relatives re-hired Al Flora, Jr back in January 2007 when Kocis was found dead. Al Flora, Jr. actually issued a press release on behalf of Bryan Kocis’ relatives.

The case against Harlow Cuadra is UP IN FLAMES as a result of Harlow Cuadra being represented by The Luzerne County Public Defender and, A COUPLE OF LAWYERS FOR HARLOW CUADRA were in a position to anticipate the strategic value of Harlow Cuadra not being able to afford a private attorney.

Not only could President Judge Ciavarella have been PLAYED but, all of the assholes out there laughing at Harlow Cuadra trying to raise money for his legal defense fund could have also been PLAYED.

It is going to be hard to argue that Cuadra deliberately made himself unable to afford private counsel when there are those RICO-ing Idiots in Virginia Beach who seized all of Cuadra’s assets and The Anti-Harlow Cuadra People rejoicing in their ability to deter people from contributing to Harlow’s and Joe’s legal defense funds.

Prejudice has been done to Harlow Cuadra as a result of Cuadra having no lawyers and absolutely nothing being done to defend Cuadra for a trial scheduled for March 2008. And, Cuadra has no lawyers because the Public Defenders recognized that they can’t represent Cuadra no matter what Judge Ciavarella ruled.

AND THERE IS ANOTHER OPTION with respect to the pending motion by the Luzerne County DA to disqualify The Public Defender from representing Cuadra. The Luzerne County DA could DROP ALL CHARGES AGAINST CUADRA rather than be a party to a criminal proceeding in which Cuadra (the accused) is represented by The Victim’s Lawyers. From where I sit, there appears to be little doubt that Jackie Musto-Carroll will drop all charges against Cuadra rather than be a party to some Good Ole Boy Manuever in which The Victim’s Lawyers are representing The Accused.

I seem to recall Barry Taylor back in February 2007 saying that he sent a Private Detective to Dallas Township to do some investiating into Bryan Kocis’ life in Luzerne County and that the PI was escorted out of town by the Dallas Township Police. I wonder if Ole Barry knew that Al Flora Jr and Jonathan Blum (Bryan Kocis’ lawyers) were in charge of the Luzerne County Public Defender’s Office?
