The Sunday before the arrests of Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kereke, Judge Michael Conahan announed that he would retire from The Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas at the end of 2007. Michael Conahan was the Judge for Bryan Kocis 2002 guilty plea and for the 2006 “correction” to that guilty plea.

It may now be clearer WHY Luzerne County Prosecutors DO NOT want The Defense for Cuadra and Kerekes to reference Bryan Kocis 2001 arrest on child molestation charges.

According to testimony from Judge Anne Lokuta at her misconduct hearing, the “alleged” FBI Probe of the Luzerne County Judiciary was specifically about Lokuta complaining about Michael Conahan.

She said she spoke to a federal prosecutor about Conahan’s docketing practices and ultimately met with the FBI … Lokuta made the revelation in her testimony Monday. The issue came up when Lokuta was testifying how Conahan took a case from her docket and then had a closed-door hearing on it. The case involved a license suspension for courthouse worker Molly Sheridan. Timesleader

There was no mention of when the meeting took place, or whether it led to a further investigation.

All anyone with a brain had to do was to look at the fact that Bryan Kocis was openly operating a Gay Bareback Porn Production Studio in the basement of a residential house to realize that SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT.
