The fact that Former Judges Michael Conahan and Mark Ciavarella appointed attorneys to Luzerne County’s Conflict Counsel Pool WITHOUT ADVERTISING the vacancies is Joseph Kerekes’ Get Out of Jail Free Card

Hours after settling his predecessor’s budget-related lawsuit against the Luzerne County commissioners Friday, President Judge Chester B. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that the method by which Judges Conahan and Ciavarella selected attorneys to appoint to Luzerne County’s Conflict Counsel Pool will be the basis for one of the next big scandals out of Luzerne County.

Former President Judges Michael Conahan and Mark Ciavarella appear to have appointed attorneys to the Conflict Counsel pool without advertising the vacancies … You had two Judges who were sending kids to jail for kickbacks. How do YOU think these two corrupt Judges decided what lawyers to give Court Jobs to?

In addition to the scandal of how the Conflict Counsels were Chosen, you have the fact that Judge Olszweski, the Bryan Kocis Murder Trial Judge, had to know that Conahan and Ciavarella weren’t advertising vacancies for the Conflict Counsel Pool.

Judge Olszweski removed Demetrius Fannick as Harlow Cuadra’s lawyer and assigned Cuadra a lawyer from Mark Ciavarella’s Conflict Counsel Pool of Attorneys. In order to justify removing Demtrius Fannick as Cuadra’s lawyer, Olszweksi had to re-define the definition of an implied attorney client relationship in The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania .
